We offer free, impartial, confidential information and advice for children and young people aged 0-25 and their parents or carers where a child or young person has or may have special educational needs and/or disability (SEND). We also provide information, advice, and support to professionals on topics relating to SEND.
The Bury SENDIASS team sits within the wider Greater Manchester SEND Services.

SENDiass offer a range of workshops for both Parents/Carers and Professionals. Workshops can be delivered both online via Microsoft Teams and in person at a variety of venues across the borough. Spaces are allocated on a first come first serve basis and tickets can be booked via Eventbrite.
At present, we are working with Bury 2 Gether and other support groups to identify what workshops will be offered between January and March 2026. Workshops will be advertised via Eventbrite and links uploaded below once confirmed.
We are hosting a variety of drop-in and appointment sessions across the borough, where parents can meet us face to face for information, advice, and support. Dates from January - March 2026 are listed below:

BURY2GETHER is a Community Interest Company (CIC) managed by parents and carers supporting parents and carers who have a child or young person with a special educational need or disability (SEND), aged 0-25, who has been supported by Bury services.

First Point offer post diagnostic support around autism and ADHD, one-to-one support for families accessing social care, parent and carer seminars and workshops, one-to-one support for families referred in by the school nursing teams, or CAMHS.

The Local Offer is an information hub for all things relating to SEND in the area.
