SENDIASS
We offer free, impartial, confidential information and advice for children and young people aged 0-25 and their parents or carers where a child or young person has or may have special educational needs and/or disability (SEND). We also provide information, advice, and support to professionals on topics relating to SEND.
The Bury SENDIASS team sits within the wider Greater Manchester SEND Services.

If you are a parent of a child or young person with SEND who has an interest in helping us to monitor, develop, and improve our service, we would love to hear from you. We have a range of workshops taking place from September, 2025 covering common issues that we support parents and carers with. These workshops will be both online via Microsoft Teams and in person at a variety of venues across the borough. Spaces are filled will be allocated on a first come first serve basis and tickets can be booked via Eventbrite.
We are hosting a variety of drop-in and appointment sessions across the borough, where parents can meet us face to face for information, advice, and support. Dates from September – December 2025 are listed below:

BURY2GETHER is a Community Interest Company (CIC) managed by parents and carers supporting parents and carers who have a child or young person with a special educational need or disability (SEND), aged 0-25, who has been supported by Bury services.
