Liverpool and Knowsley SENDIASS

About our service

Liverpool & Knowsley SENDIASS logo

We offer information, advice, and support around various topics relating to special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) for children and young people aged 0-25 and their families, living in the Liverpool and Knowsley area.

We offer a dedicated helpline for telephone and email information and advice (all helpline staff are level 3 IPSEA trained), information factsheets and packs, drop-in sessions in Liverpool and Knowsley, casework (for those that are eligible), training and workshops for families and professionals, and support to young people (who can get help without their parent or caregiver).

Our opening hours are Monday - Friday, 9am-4.30pm.

Barnardo’s is very proud to be working towards the Cultural Cohesion Quality Mark (CCQM) to show our commitment to embracing diversity, challenging racism, and celebrating harmonious relationships.

The Cultural Cohesion Quality Mark (CCQM) is awarded to organisations and communities who can demonstrate improvements in their cultural competency. CCQM supports organisations and communities to develop knowledge, understanding and behaviours needed for individuals to enjoy living and working in places where cultural diversity is recognised, appreciated, and promoted. The aim is to improve equality, reduce discrimination, and enable equal access to opportunities for every citizen.
