About our service

SENDIASS logo

Providing confidential, impartial support and advice for parents, carers, children, and young people (0-25) about special educational needs and disability.

We offer up-to-date and impartial resources and information about the law on special educational needs and disability.

This includes:

  • Your rights and choices.

  • Education, health, and social care.

  • Preparation for meetings.

  • Building confidence to express your views and concerns.

  • Work alongside schools, the Local Authority, and other professionals to develop positive relationships.

  • Support to understand forms, letters, and reports.

  • Information and training sessions for professionals, parents, carers, and young people.

  • Opportunities to participate through local forums to inform strategic commissioning.

  • Referral/signposting to the other agencies (where appropriate).
