Providing confidential, impartial support and advice for parents, carers, children, and young people (0-25) about special educational needs and disability.
We offer up-to-date and impartial resources and information about the law on special educational needs and disability.
This includes:
Your rights and choices.
Education, health, and social care.
Preparation for meetings.
Building confidence to express your views and concerns.
Work alongside schools, the Local Authority, and other professionals to develop positive relationships.
Support to understand forms, letters, and reports.
Information and training sessions for professionals, parents, carers, and young people.
Opportunities to participate through local forums to inform strategic commissioning.
Referral/signposting to the other agencies (where appropriate).
